Thank you offred Smile

I've kept myself busy all day knowing the day would drag. I now have a very clean house, scrubbed dcs and a long evening ahead Grin

How exciting! Three weeks is a long time and over new year too. Hope you have a lovely day tomorrow. Really lovely to read happy post as I said, relationships is too often full of misery. I suggest going to sleep so the time goes quickly!

TeaJunky · 18/01/2014 20:57

Grin I've changed the sheets and even ironed them so now don't want to crease them Grin ... I definitely won't be able to sleep yet ... Dd1 is so worked up with excitement she's bopping in and out of bed. Dd2 (1 year old) completely oblivious and fast asleep. It has been too long and I am knackered and bored and grumpy without him Blush
Roll on Monday morning and not having to do the morning school run with a face like a slapped arse Grin

Gosh, has it really been 3 weeks since your goady thread about this was deleted? How time flies!

TeaJunky · 18/01/2014 22:42

Yep, three whole weeks since mn deleted my ^orginal^ thread for no reason hence the goady thread (which of course was also deleted but I knew that anyway) Grin

TeaJunky · 18/01/2014 23:20

Boozy, glad to find a like-hearted person on MN...I said as much in my original thread and was crucified Hmm

I'm painting my nails now.

Feels like a huge date tomorrow, got butterflies in my tummy GrinBlushGrin

My DP is away for seven weeks and tonight is a quarter of the way through. The good thing is how much I miss him so I know he is important to me and how lovely he is being from afar. He sent me flowers at work this week! I NEVER had that before in my life.
The bad thing is how cold it is in bed without him and how much I really really miss him!
I think occasional absences are good for a relationship because it reminds you not to take anyone for granted.
Hope you get some sleep tonight!

TeaJunky · 18/01/2014 23:30

Kouig - that's lovely about the flowers , he's definitely missing you too Smile

And yes to how cold it is in bed! Seriously, since he's been gone I've had a fleece blanket underneath my duvet, a hot water bottle for my feet and Pajamas in bed (which I never do usually or I'll roast), and I'm just about ok. Blush

OP you were jumped on in your original thread because of your 'he's gone' heading, upon reading it people then felt you were goading ...and as for your second one Hmm.

Anyway, have fun.

TeaJunky · 19/01/2014 09:30

Really ?

I still don't think there was anything wrong at all with my heading.

Anyhow , thanks for the well wishes , I sure will Wink

TeaJunky · 19/01/2014 09:35

From what I recall, many many posters, the most scathing and hateful actually, had a problem with the fact that I was missing DH. Not because of the heading at all.

paxtecum · 19/01/2014 15:43

OP Hope you have a great day.

Re 'He's gone' - most of us did have a problem with the title and you are being a bit odd if you can't see that.

Anyway, it is very lovely that you two are so happy and I wish you well.

GinSoakedBitchyPony · 19/01/2014 17:33

Well I'm kind of glad that OP's back, even though that first thread title was most unfortunate. And the second goady thread was a bit childish.
I'm glad she's back because it gave me a chance to NC to this one again, didn't think I'd get to use it again.

TeaJunky · 19/01/2014 23:38

Bitchypony Grin most unfortunate indeed!

DH is out for the count what with the five hour time difference, and I have no need for a hot water bottle/blankets under duvets/fifteen pairs of thermal knickers anymore because he is a man-sized radiator Grin

handfulofcottonbuds · 19/01/2014 23:40

In fairness, your posts would be better placed in chat.

I'm glad for you that he is back but I do remember the unfortunate title for your previous thread.

TeaJunky · 19/01/2014 23:42

Handful, we've already established that. A few times over already actually. Wink
