Long story short dp is working right now I am waiting up for him to come home. About 30 mins ago he showed up as online on facebook web not mobile I phoned him and got no answer. Is it possible to have your facebook say you are online when you are not? is it possible for him to have connected on his phone and it to say it's a web connection? Has someone got his facebook password and is on his account? Why would they be? there is never anything interesting on there.
I am 37 weeks pregnant so I am pretty pissed off that he didn't answer his phone as could of been important how is he to know but this could also be me being paranoid due to pregnancy hormones and at this point lack of sleep.

Are you watching his FB so carefully that you saw his status change from offline to online? FB doesn't log you off when you leave the page, you have to sign out - but why shouldn't he have a quick look at FB during a break at work, not log off, and then not be beside his phone when you call? Are you worried that he's up to no good?

Dirtybadger · 10/01/2014 01:04

I'm not 100% but if you go through to FB via your browser on a phone it might come up as 'web' vs via a browser = "mobile"....?

SPsMrLoverManSHABBA · 10/01/2014 01:06

My Fb keeps me logged in 24/7 but it will say mobile.

SavoyCabbage · 10/01/2014 01:11

He's at work though. So might have been having a quick look on Facebook but too busy to talk. Or maybe he's at traffic lights.

dunsborough · 10/01/2014 01:12

Why would it bother you if he was on FB?
Perhaps he quickly checked it.

I doubt he has been hacked.

Nousernameforme · 10/01/2014 01:13

I wasn't watching his fb i went on mine looked at chat list to see who was on and saw he was on and tbh as he knew i was waiting up for him a courtesy call on a break to say things weren't going to plan and he was going to be late isn't too much to ask for

via an app = "mobile", I meant.

SavoyCabbage · 10/01/2014 01:21

Honestly, it sounds like you are looking for an argument. Your pregnant, it's 1am so you are probably tired. Just forget it.

Rosencrantz · 10/01/2014 01:22

Honestly, happens to me all the time. Stop worrying. I am not on Facebook at 4am when it says I am. It just does this from time to time... honestly.

You don't want to be the wife who controls his computer use. Really you don't.

Go to bed and try to rest.

LoveBeingCantThinkOfAName · 10/01/2014 01:27

So he's much later home than he should be?

Nousernameforme · 10/01/2014 01:27

honestly am not looking for an argument just ive been off and on facebook all night and he suddenly popped up as being online so I was a bit miffed he is a chef so it isn't like he can just access a computer not drip feeding just didn't see it as relevant

The whole, who's online thing own FB IME is rubbish - I've been on & it tells me DD is online - she was sat at the other side of the room watching TV & hadn't been online for over an hour - she was signed out too as I was using the same device she had used earlier - she's seen me show up as online when I was out shopping & definitely wasn't online - same with DH - he has been online & not showing up too - & he didn't realise you could be invisible on there

Which I'm sure if your DH or any "hacker" was using your DHs account& didn't want you to know - they would use the invisible function so you wouldn't know anyway.

So relax - its FB getting its knickers in a twist which it often does
