Mu father still feels guilty and brings it up, which ends up upsetting me, it's in the past over 35 years ago, he was a good dad growing up although can be a pain now, I wish he would let it go as it does not help me to keep bringing it up.

oh yes my dad feels guilty i think he should stop worrying, my brother and i are nearly 50.

My mum slightly does as she is the one who left but she doesn't let on unless she's been on the sherry

I used to feel guilty that I couldn't spend Christmas with my DF each year. Silly really.

I don't feel guilt but used to feel guilty that they were still in each other's lives only because of me.

What really annoys me now is that they STILL make snidey comments about each other nearly 30 years on FGS. Drives me potty as I'm still stuck in the bloody middle. Get over it!!
