Tinder.....anyone?

Joined Tinder on a whim a couple of days ago. Is it just a hook up app or has anyone actually started a relationship from it? I might be interested in a nice bit of no strings sex but not sure how this is meant to work!

Im on tinder - very hit and miss. Lots of guys looking for "fun" as they think its a hook up site, some who are looking for dates and chat, some who are full on and over the top calling me "gorgeous" and acting like they are in a relationship and they've only seen 3 pics of me!! There are a whole mixture of people on there, like any dating site really....oh and I forgot to mention the abundance of married men...!!!!!

Met my lovely dp on tinder. He was the 2nd date I had- I was his 1st. We met up after about a week of chatting. I chatted online to a few men who seemed decent. I think the trick is to put normal pictures of yourself doing everyday things that you like up and you should attract the right sort of man! You can tell a lot from their photos too and if you strike up a conversation you can watch out for bad spelling. It's easy enough to block people if you don't want to speak to them.

I met the guy I'm dating on tinder,it's not all hookups, you soon realise who is only up for a quick shag plus plenty of newbies log on all the time.I've deleted it now but have chatted to a couple of nice guys on it,not all sleazebags,give it a go you may be surprised :-)

I'm a single father and can easily hook up in a bar if I wanted a one night thing, I'm not into anything serious, some company for eating out, having a laugh and some sex would be great... But try getting that without it getting serious!

Anyone else find there is no middle ground? It's one-nighters or serious relationship... :(

I do get your point Liam, I'm now kind of over the fuck buddy thing and looking for more friends with benefits (yes there is a difference!) out of the 10 or so guys I've hooked up with on there only a couple really fit the bill, and not sure I could pin my favourite one down even to that!

Was thinking of writing on my profile that I want someone to date, hang out and have fun in and out of bed but with minimal strings and see if it makes a difference? At the moment it says nothing.
