ive been asking himm for a white gold wedding band for our tenth wedding anniversayr for a while now.
and he got it for mmeeeeeeeeee..

this may not be romantic by many people standards, but by ours, its like, oh, capturing some moonshine for me. or something really really loveing.

oh, he's lovely. and my new wedding band is gorgeous.

iamapieceofcheesecake · 19/07/2006 01:20

My lovely dp has been trying for months to get me a white gold engagement ring but as I have a certain one in mind it's proving to be quite a task. I really have to like this one though as it will be my second one. (first was yellow gold and am now wearing white gold and silver so would look silly).

apronstrings · 19/07/2006 01:23

cheese cake I switched from yellow to white a long tiime ago and keep telling dh I would like a white gold (or silvre for that matter) band because I would lkike to look married!!

iamapieceofcheesecake · 19/07/2006 01:31

I know. Even though i'm not married to him, I would still like people to know that I am with someone. I feel quite 'naked' without my engagement ring.

stitch · 27/08/2006 22:42

the git took the ring back because apparently we have nothing to celebrate. no love or companionship or anything.

myturn · 27/08/2006 23:53

NotAnOtter · 27/08/2006 23:55

toss pot! whats happened ??? thinking of you stitch x

fattiemumma · 28/08/2006 00:00

yeap, this was the thread i had thought of.

I can't beleive the imaturity of your husband hun. he sounds either disturbed or just plain ignorant.
either way you need to make efforts to get this sorte. he is clealry without any regard for you or your emotional wellbeing hun.

tell him to shove his ring up his chuff!

MrsApronstrings · 28/08/2006 00:53

you'll have to explain...please

Tiggly · 28/08/2006 01:01

Check out the "apparantly I should get a job" thread as she explains more there

MrsApronstrings · 28/08/2006 01:13

stitch sorry to read all this - am still quite new really so didn't know anything of this.would you like to be back working? let us know how it goes - with the job search etc.
