Hi, just a random note, but I'm getting mightily confused with the sudden proliferation of any-fucker related nicknames that have appeared.

Is the original (and tremendously straight talking, to the point, usually right) AF still among us? Who are all these others? Minions? Friends? Admirers?

Or maybe I'm the only one who's noticed, and I need to get a life. Hmm

She's still about. She gave me some really good advice and support on a thread the other week, sympathetic yet straight talking as always. I won't out her, but she's here :)

Oh and I've name changed since posting the thread so hopefully she can't be outed that way.

I don't think WWIFN is still around, but even if she is I do know she's not WellWobbly! Their stories (and their husbands) were completely different, not to mention their views on various issues.

I'm with Chipping though about threads like these.

If any poster who's namechanged wanted to out herself, she'd let people know and unless anyone's had it confirmed to them personally by the woman herself, it's just speculation that's best kept in the head and not on a thread or a PM IMO.

Because unfortunately as we all know these threads attract nasty sorts with grudges to bear and massive inferiority complexes- the sort who like to cut tall poppies down, but in the most cowardly way possible. Unfortunately this is not a safe forum for Relationships and FWR regulars who resist namechanging, so I'm all for protecting posters' privacy and their right to anonymity.

I don't need to know who posters once were. If they are good eggs I'm glad they are still here, but they'll only stay here if they remain safe and the good folks who like them, keep it that way.
