Soooo annoyed with ex-p

Ex-p texted me 10 min ago to say that he "Can't pick the kids up tomorrow, sorry".

He was meant to have them for the day, I had planned to do Xmas shopping and wrapping. I am so cross with him. I have tried to ring him but no answer and when I asked him what I should tell the kids is more important he has replied with "my sanity". He has had mh issues in the past but last night we chatted about Xmas presents for them etc and he was absolutely bloody fine. Aaargh!

I am obv. Much more cross about the kids being let down than about the Xmas shopping issues btw.

I sympathise.. my ex picks and chooses and often let's them down.

I never tell him now and always have a plan b if possible.

It's horrible I know.. I'm sorry.

At least it makes me ever more sure that I've done the right thing!

If it is his sanity, then maybe it is a good thing that the children aren't with him.
They will also grow to know he's not reliable. His loss.

Now he says he has to go to Selby??
