How to feel when an ex does this...

Just venting really. I've recently found out that my ex (were together 9 years, split up 4 months ago) has got someone pregnant. We didn't have DCs. Don't know anything about her apart from that they had been having a casual relationship for a few weeks. It was a mutual split but we don't have any contact now - actually he has moved to another country. I'm not jealous. I'm just feeling a bit weird about it and wondered if anyone had been in a similar position.

Definitely. When my ex-H walked out I was just about to turn 30 and we'd recently been talking about actively ttc. So he let me down in more ways than one. When I discovered he and the OW (subsequently his DP) had had a baby, it wasn't jealousy I felt but it wasn't good either.

Thanks Cogito - I'm just trying to process it really! I'm 31 and havent met anyone new yet (or have time to atm!) so getting a bit worried about being too old for kids when I do meet someone so I guess that is part of it too. Also have no idea whether he is happy about it or not!

My ex walked out to be with pregnant girlfriend.I felt relief mostly with tiniest bit of jealousy.I would have liked a fourth child.
Barely a year later he has left her and gone back to his mother.
Your only 31 you ve got tons of time to meet the perfect man and do the baby thing right.I feel sorry for his ex she has really been done over.
