It was the anniversary of when my nan died yesterday - 13 years - and i completely forgot

I feel so awful it's unbearable - have just rang DP in tears cos i can't believe I forgot!
My mum didn't seem herself yesterday but i just thought she was really busy and trying to concentrate - she has just told me was really upset and just wanted some time to think about her mum but had too much work to do so couldn't!

What can i do to make it up to her - we are so close and i just cannot believe i forgot

SpringChicken, it is TRUE that pregnancy can play havoc with your short-term memory, honest. That is probably a very likely reason for your forgetting this year.
If your nan has a grave could you go there together and put flowers on it this afternoon? Or visit somewhere that has happy connections with your nan? Sympathies.

SpringChicken - I think you're amazing to remember that you forgot tbh. Just ring/go and see your mum and have a cry.

Decided to send her a card via email - said i was really sorry i forgot and reminded her how much i love her!

Think she has forgiven me
