It's my fault...I told him to go.

Cogito I don't think GPs have done house calls for years now? Theres always the out of hours centre though.

CogitoErgoSometimes · 01/11/2013 18:55

My surgery will send someone over if you're very worried. Thought other practices offered the same service.

SmilesandSunshine · 01/11/2013 19:34

Mine only do them if you are too ill to leave the house I think. Thanks for the kind words I don't deserve them x

You do bloody deserve them you've come this far, you've been a mother and a partner, you're a woman who is suffering and is strong enough to realise that she needs help now.

You can get your children up and go to the chemist if it's not too far, if not until tomorrow get a cold compress and apply it to the eye. This sounds daft (laugh if you want) but potato peels can help if it's swelled!

Is there anyone you can ring OP, a friend for a chat?

SmilesandSunshine · 01/11/2013 20:46

DS is in bed as he finally fel asleep on me after crying and screaming for almost an hour, but poor little mite has a nasty cough (he was seen by a GP this morning who says there is no infection etc). His eye isn't red or swollen or anything its just gunky. So no idea. Gave it a clean as well as I could. I have no money till tommorow and I'll have to go out regardless as we need electric, as we are currently on emergency credit.

I have found out where he is and I am at the very least unimpressed.

So whats actually happened?

My partner has left many times after a row when ive told him to go, gives us both time and space to think, try and be calm

SmilesandSunshine · 01/11/2013 21:28

I don't know to be honest. I have made contact and asked that as his son is pretty poorly (not a lie he actually isn't himself tonight I am amazed he fell asleep!) could he possibly stop having fun and come home and help and he has agreed. I just got off the phone, he spoke to me pretty much like nothing had happened, couldn't give me a specific time but a rough time as to when he will be leaving as he is relying on a lift (if I was told my DS was really poorly and he needed help, I'd walk - he is in a place he could walk from easily- but hey thats just me and probably the mood I'm in speaking. Didn't say that obviously) I could hardly speak, I ended up hanging up on him Blush

I'm a fucking bitch..hit me with it.

I can't calm down, I'm actually shaking a little bit. I'm horrible horrible horrible. Poor bastard is wanting to leave me but I can't even let him do that properly. I'm trying to let him see the DC do need him and not me (even though that is a lie and I sodding need him too and I so shouldn't argh)

OP posts:
Strumpetron · 01/11/2013 21:30

You're not a bitch at all. Please dont think that.

CogitoErgoSometimes · 01/11/2013 21:31

I'm not seeing 'bitch'. You sound very upset, worried and confused though. Were you hoping that if you said 'go' he'd stay but promise to change? Are you upset that he actually left?

SmilesandSunshine · 01/11/2013 21:39

I was honestly shocked as I'd told him previously in a heated row a while back to get out but he refused to leave the DC, so couldn't quite understand why now was acceptable. I am very confused although as a mother I should be able to cope alone for one sodding night so I feel very pathetic too.

OP posts:
Strumpetron · 01/11/2013 21:42

smiles you're in a bad place at the minute, you're feeling vulnerable. You can and WILL cope but you're perfectly entitled to feel confused, scared and vulnerable.
