Feeling invisible .....wave at a mate!

Reprint · 22/10/2013 20:31

Following on from Trish's good idea (and by request) this thread is the place to play 'bag a buddy' 'wave at a mate' or 'grab someone else's grip for a minute'

The original idea from the invisble thread was that it would be a brilliant idea if people had a friend they could pair up with ....just so someone is going to wave at you when you feel down.
It needed a thread.
This is it .....................

I think chocolaye is what DP's hope for when they wrap up those ghastly jars of chocolate bodyspread ..... and call it a Christmas present!

Clocks Kato

Lifts top in return

Remembers the state of her old grey bra

Lowers top quietly and sidles off hoping no one noticed.

Right. Cannot put it off any longer. I'm off to the kitchen to do the washing up (no dishwasher) then my bed is calling. Can guarantee that at least one of the kids will wake me during the night and I desperately need my beauty sleep.

Goodnight all.

MyOther There's a Nutella thread? How have I missed that?

Can I check. Now we've got a buddy/wave mate - what do we do next? Sorry, I bit dense today. I didn't realise people had mates on here (bit dense everyday!). So every time someone with mates starts a thread , do their mates all check in on to say hi etc?

Hello, I rushed in earlier, waved, then had to rush out again. Are there rules, or are we just happy wavers? How do you get a buddywaver?

I think Trish's idea was that people would keep an eye out for seeing a "mates" name ...and pop a comment on.
Lots of suggestions that sending a PM to a friend if you were in over your head on a thread, might be a nice option for finding backup.

I think seeing that a friend has started a thread, and joining in, is a great way to start ....but don't think there are any rules really.
As ever with MN, it will be what people make it.

Maybe a pressure group for a wave emoticon Grin

UncomfortablyDumb start waving Smile
In theory, the person below and above you will buddy-up .... so Catacombmint arrived just before you
(Planet is waving at everyone, along with lots of happy wavers Smile We are just trollops )
So you are now watching for the next poster after you, to wave at

The more I say ...the more confused I get!
