I think the MN-er was called 'Foginyoureyes' and the situation sounded very unhappy with a violent partner that she was trying to get out of her life. Did the thread get pulled?

Yes, it was pulled with the reason "the OP wasn't who she said she was" or something similar

A bummer when you try to talk with someone and they turn out not to be so. You can only hope that others, lurking maybe, might have read the thread and got something from it.

Bloody hell...troll threads are really annoying.

Time could have been spent helping someone else! Have to say I was starting to think it might have been, but frankly I always think every ones should be given the benefit of the doubt.
