I'm leaving tomorrow. I just want to post because I somehow believe that posting will almost give me the last push to leave.

it's been hell for the last two months. he's changed all of a sudden and wants a wife who belongs in the 1930s. in fact they get more freedom than I do.

I'm another who loves with in-laws and I saw a thread recently and I swear I could've written it myself. I'm 22 weeks and lately his parents have decided to take it upon themselves to tell me how to play the role of a wife. This involves waiting up until 10pm when he gets home (sometimes later) to serve him his food wait for him to eat it and then wash the dish after. If I'm not awake then he is to wake me up..!! it's been hell and constant fights and I feel sorry for my DC having to love through it.

I'm leaving tomorrow and there is no looking back. I could go into detail by that's not my purpose of this post.

Wow well done! You can do it!
Make sure you give the ILs the finger on the way out. They sound like awful people.

Good for you, OP. It sounds like the right decision. Do you have family you will stay with?
