I've finally broken my man in!

Last night he came round to babysit whilst I went out.. whilst out he mowed the lawn, did dd's bedtiem routine, cooked himself dinner (this man could barely make toast 18months ago), tidied up after himself, stacked and turned on the dishwasher.. he even took himself to bed instead of falling asleep in front of the TV!

So after 18 months of bringing him on, he's finally there - almost!!

I had a moment of revelation once when DP picked up a multipack of tupperware containers in IKEA and said "these might be useful". My jaw hit the floor and I though "my god, he's reached domestic awareness."

After 5 years of marriage, he still has no idea how to carry a plate to the kitchen. He has no idea what a wash-basket is, and he has never used the washing machine!!

I've also finally got him to go with the fact that putting the rubbish out is his job! HURRAH!! I only have to ask him about 5 times now as well before he actually does it.

LOL, maybe he's buttering me up for something.. like he's arranged to do something that he know's I'll hate and is building up to telling me.

Although I thought he'd been so good last night I rewarded him by waking him up when I got in iykwim
