Hi,
A friends partner made a pass at me and I'm unsure whether or not to say anything.... Part of me thinks I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't. I've seen that the third party can often be blamed. WWYD? Whats the correct way to support my friend without interfering. I feel awkward around the partner now....

So why this thread asking for advice?

If she's the victim of emotional or physical abuse (DV) sometimes women will put up with that more than infidelity. You could really do some good here and perhaps save a friend from further physical and emotional harm. If a friend ditches you for telling her the truth, that's a friend who's not worth having but often women who go on to exit abusive relationships come back to their exasperated friends who they ditched and try to mend fences, so even if she does ditch you, you might not have lost her for good.

If you're a good friend, this should be about her feelings, not yours- and her interests, not yours. You aren't the one in an abusive relationship, so you've got more in your armoury to cope.

I would def tell. First time I told my best friend she was angry with her DP, he talked her round and wouldn't let us meet anymore. Over time he loosened the reins and we started meeting again. He tried it on again, I ummed and ahhed over whether to tell her as I didn't want to lose her friendship again. Decided it was more important that she knew than my concerns I might lose her again. This time she kicked him to the kerb :)
