Going to Relate tomorrow for the first time, not sure what to expect and whether it is worth it.
Dp feels that it is a waste of money!!! We argue all the time and its not fair on the kids this is our last atempt.
In your opinions do you think Relationship counselling works? We have so many un resolved issues that we can't even discuss them like adults before we both start yelling at each other.
But now I am beginning to question whether it is worth it or not.
Opinions please thankyou.

Relationship counselling is always worth trying but it is not a magic wand and both parties need to be committed and honest. It can also go on and on. Good luck tomorrow

We did too and it worked for us. The one thing that face to face counselling does is allow you to get past the arguing / emotion that gets in the way of communicating properly.

Give it a go - and don't expect to see a difference until you've had 4 or 5 sessions, it may get worse before it gets better

we did and it saved us and made us stronger than ever.
