Should I phone police. Is there anything they can do? I don't want him back here with me.

He is drunk, smashing up the place. And very angry.

I've already cleared up half a supermarket bag of broken stuff. He's broken the sink in the kitchen. And is smashing stuff up in the bathroom. I'm genuinely frightened. Shaking. Stomach is turning. I've got three children fast asleep in their beds I cannot just run out. I will not leave them.

He is planning on fighting his brother tomprrow and giving him what he should be giving me (aparently) And hurting him. (I've been trying to get rid for ages of him but can't). Lots of back history. Now shouting " I'm going kill you cunt".

Do I have to wait until he turns on me to phone? At the moment he is contained downstairs.

RollerCola · 18/09/2013 22:42

NO DON'T WAIT - RING 999 NOW

Sorry for shouting but please do ring them. Take care

LamaDrama · 18/09/2013 22:44

You DO NOT have to wait - he has already turned. Get help x

RollerCola · 18/09/2013 22:44

Can you lock yourself in with the children? Are they in separate rooms? Can you get them all in one place? Don't worry about waking them, you need to keep them (and you) safe.

Call 999, then can you alert a neighbour? Sit tight.

knittedknickers · 18/09/2013 22:44

Have you got a neighbour you can ring as well and ask to come round to sit with you while you wait for the police? ONly if you think this won't antagonise the situation, obviously. Hope you've phoned police and they're on their way.

RollerCola · 18/09/2013 22:46

If you're scared to speak to the police on the phone can you pm one of us your address so we can ring them for you?

shadesofwhite · 18/09/2013 22:46

RING 999 NOW!!!

Keep all the evidence for the police.

This is your golden opportunity for you and your DC's to run away from that animal! Do not hesitate..

hashtagwhatever · 18/09/2013 22:46

Hissy · 18/09/2013 22:51

AnyFucker · 18/09/2013 22:52

You are asking this question on the internet while he is smashing your house up ?

mammadiggingdeep · 18/09/2013 22:59

Phone now !!

RollerCola · 18/09/2013 22:59

In answer to your question op, yes the police will do something. They will make sure you & your children are safe, and they will arrest him & take him away.

Hope you're ok. We won't expect an update as hopefully you've called them & they're on their way. Look after yourselves

PeazlyPops · 18/09/2013 23:00

Of course you should call the police!

Are your children safe? Can you all get to one room for safety until the police arrive?

bluedoor99 · 18/09/2013 23:09

Thanks. Ill update later.

Yes, phone now.

Kids and you in same room. Lock the door if you can. Keep operator on, they will be able to hear anything he says or does.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 18/09/2013 23:34

In the time you've logged onto MN, found the right forum and posted three paragraphs you could have phoned 999 and have had the police dispatched.

RollerCola · 19/09/2013 07:34

How are you op?
