A Friday 13th date at that!

It is my first ever date with another woman which is why I am even more nervous. We met on POF and she seems so lovely and I have wanted to find a woman to date for quite a while so wish I could shake the nerves and get excited!

What are your plans for the date and more importantly, what are you going to wear?!

LadyMud · 13/09/2013 14:51

Your "nerves" are there to protect you, Obviously. Stay alert, follow the normal rules for meeting strangers . . . and have a wonderful evening!
With luck, it'll be the first of many.

Fairylea · 13/09/2013 14:55

Oooh how exciting :) :)

Enjoy and have a wonderful time. Dating is such fun.

I met my dh online and when we first met I hid behind a bookcase (we met in a bookshop coffee shop) checking him out first :) we still laugh about it now.

Snapespeare · 13/09/2013 15:01

exciting! Hope it's a lovely date and she lives up to expectations! :)

Oh I've only just seen the replies! It went very well buy we got a lot of abuse from random men Hmm

And my dad isn't talking to me as we 'checked in' on Facebook to the restaurant we went to and he saw and is furious I would go on a date with a woman.

Prejudice is a terrible trait, especially from someone who is supposed to love you....

Ignore and enjoy

HairyGrotter · 15/09/2013 11:04

Glad the date went well (as in you both had a good time), shame others seem so 'put out' and 'affronted' by a perfectly normal act...it's a date ffs!

Ignore and enjoy the lovely feelings of fun dating!

internationallove985 · 15/09/2013 12:15

Hi Obviously. Glad you both had a good night. Sorry for the abuse you suffered. I thought people were more open minded and accepting now but perhaps I'm more nieve that I like to think I am. I'm also disapointed in your dad's reaction.

It's a clique to say it but as long as you're both happy then just worry about yourselves. I really hope this is the start of something very special for you both. xx
