Deception or denial?

A very very close friend has found out that her DH has a terminal,genetic disorder which can be very harrowing.

Friend,s DH never told my friend but told her mother when they were married. Mother kept it a secret and they went on to have children. (These children may now develop it.)

Friend's DH is now obviously getting the symptoms.

Was never told before marriage or children.

What on earth can be done to help?

Your poor friend. There's nothing you can do, but be there to listen to her. I could perhaps forgive my husband - and that's not certain. But her MOTHER? Bloody hell.

That's what I thought. The Mother knew. How could she not tell? Those poor DCs. I'm just crying...
