Baby number 2? Or not?

We've always said we want 2 or 3 children and our first is 20 months now.

Last night we had the conversation of whether we should start trying for number 2 and we both agreed now is a good time.

It was a foregone conclusion in many ways and we both really want another baby.

I'm keen to ensure a close sibling relationship, so don't want to leave it too long and also, having one soon would mean were leaving the door open for number 3 if we so wish. Makes sense?

It's just that now we've officially decided and I'm about to book an appt to get my implant out I've been hit by the enormity of the decision!

Is our first one ready? Will it be too much for us? I'm pretty sure I'd have these worries no matter when we decide to try again, any thoughts?

No, don't do it! (Am offering balance here). My DD is 26 months, not sure about another. Am main breadwinner and can't see how it would work and DP already fits bill of second child nicely
