Im not going to lie, I really don't like the idea of other women carrying his children. I just think it should be a personal thing between us to have children together and I have told him this, however he just sees it as a good way to make money
. Am I being unreasonable?

Hardly the best money making idea. You can't technically be paid for it, just expenses like travel.

Tell him to try a part time job instead!

He does have a job already he was just thinking about an extra bonus in our finance

IMHO it's a wonderful way to help a couple desperate to have a child but lacking the sperm cell to do so. Can you see it as just a cell, something which would be wasted otherwise? Would they really be "his" children? If you'd needed a sperm donor yourself would you have used one? Is it purely about the money? As Dragon says there are other ways to make money. There's a lot to think about, and YANBU to want to discuss how you feel about it, and to be happy with the decision made.

YANBU

It's daft. Repercussions would last for years. Wrong motives. Tell him to get some bar shifts if he cares that much about earning extra money.

If he wants to make more money, perhaps he might like to read this. Sperm donation isn't lucrative (expenses have to be receipted). The other ideas - market reaearch, film extra - are better remunerated, and can be done more often.
