Hi, this is my first post on this sort of matter and I haven't been on for months but was wondering if anyone can offer any advice or point me in the right direction.
I think my partner and I have come to the end of our relationship, we have a 5 year old and I have an 11 and 12 year old from a previous relationship.
My problem is I do not work and I do not get any support from the older kids dad as he was violent and is out of their lives, my partner owns the house I live in, I have no savings, I am in debt and have no family, does anyone know of any organisations I could speak to to help me find somewhere to live, I am completely lost with this one and do not know where to turn, any suggestions at all I would be grateful for.

You need to speak to your local council. I'm in Cornwall and here we have one stop shops which can advise you on where to go from here. You don't need an appointment.

Oh you should also sort out income support/job seekers and tax credits to reflect your single status. Sorry to hear about your break up :(

Fifi669 thank you so much the council need you to have a letter from the owner of the property saying that they are throwing you out, he won't do that, he has got quite nasty about it all, will look up one stop shop in my area though, I'm in london
