Got Eviction Notice

I am soo angry. My partner works takes him away during all weekdays. Last Sat. we are renovating my son's room, and tore out his bunk bed into pieces, and have a "garbage" pile in the yard. The garbage dump is only opened on weekends, so we couldn't take it out of the yard until this coming weekend. 4 Days after we started renovations, I have our trailer park owner coming over and giving me this notice.

Failure to keep the yard clean! She also complained about a tent I have in the yard. The top of it was destroyed so we folded the tent down into a small cover, as it is storing stuff for us...until reno's are done.

They KNOW my partner is away during the week and there is nothing I can do about it...besides the damn dump isn't opened anyhow until Sat!!!

Then to top it off, on the eviction notice as well, their 2nd reason for it, is because my partner has not paid property rent.

From what I understand, is he is blaming me on everything...why the yard is a mess, why he is broke and can't pay rent...blames it all on me...

I also have a lot of male friends, male family members, and often during the week they show up to visit/help me with projects. I can see my partner playing the victim about all my "guests", while I am away... pretending I'm having affairs, poor, poor him...

I am soo angry. I am so embarrassed. Walking the dog around here is humiliating. I feel for my children who play around the community... (there's the kids of that woman who...)

I'm going to start paying the rent myself. Clearly he can't.

sigh...SIGH

That's the last thing you need when you have renovation on!

What type of tenancy do you have?

Just as an aside why did he not help by taking the rubbish away to the tip last weekend when it all came out? Surely you didn't take all day both days, while the tip is open?

Is the clean yard policy (which I agree sounds very strict) spelt out in your tenancy agreement?

Sounds to me like the rent arrears are the main beef with the landlord and the rubbish merely the last straw.

Also sounds like you have more to worry about than you are discussing here?

Is the tenancy in your joint names or his only? Could you talk to your LL about taking it over in your name only & then start paying in your own right?

Are you in england/scotland/wales?

If england the below applies:

What form did the eviction notice take: it must be a section21 notice or if more than 3 months arrears a section 8 notice.

The section 21 notice is only valid if deposit is protected and served within correct dates.

Do not be forced in to an illegal eviction, phone shelter and get an appointment to double check the legality of the notice served.

Do not do anything until the legality is confirmed!!
