Just found out tonight that my husband has being gambling online , he was using sons card with his permission and giving him the cash . Its not a great deal of money but its the fact he promised never again. This is 3rd or 4th time he had done this , first time involving son only did that because he knows id find out via our statements if he used our cards !! Just feel like giving up now !

He's obviously not going to stop, is he? And worse, he's being deceitful, using his own son as a cover.

Did you tell him before that you'd leave him if he did it again?

doesn't look like it , its been a couple years since last time thats why i thought everything was ok !! more fool me ... yes i did tell him but i dont think he believes it would come to that !

Would he go to counselling with you? Your GP should be able to put you in touch with addiction charities (there's one near us that was brilliant when DS1 had drug addiction problems)

I think if you told him that you have to follow through. If you don't, it will get worse and worse.

Not sure if he would go with me , think he might go on his own though cheapskate.well if he wants to stay married might be his only chance !! Yeah i know blether thats what im thinking , even though i dont want to really give up on us, but just so pissed off at him. And it cant just get swept under the table this time !

Do you? The ball's in your court. But believe this - if you let him get away with it again it will just reinforce the message that while you may not like him gambling you will nevertheless accept it.
