I have been going out with this man for a couple of months. This morning I decided to put our relationship on FB. Looking back I should have mentioned it to him first but things have been going so well that I thought he would be pleased. I have had loads of comments from mutual friends saying how pleased they are for us. About an hour ago, he text saying could I take it off as he wants to tell his parents first this afternoon 
WTF, the man is 33 fgs, does he need their permission or something? I know for a fact that he is not married/involved with anyone as I knew him for a year before getting with him and we have a lot of mutual friends.
I have text him to ask what the problem is and rung twice getting no response. I feel a bit hurt to be honest.
Am I right to feel hurt? What would you make of this?
