I don't think she's been around for a while. I loved her advice and humour, cocktail recipes and witty crossings out

I miss her too. I was just thinking this recently! She was a brilliant support to me last year (under an old username- me, not her!) When I really needed it.

Isnt it funny how someone you have never even met can make such an impact.
I am a regular lurker and occasional poster... but I avidly read this board and there are many names i love reading. Many I think "i wish you were a rl pal"
Izzy was fab, along with AF bitwobbly agathaf...

although I've not been on MN for long, izzy stood out as one of the posters that gave great advice on here! her insight is noticeably missed.

I miss her too. I got my hopes up when you posted your thread AF. There are a few posters who vanish and you wonder if they're alright - then months later up they pop and you breathe a sigh of relief.

I was in pretty constant PM contact with Izzyizin just before she disappeared. I've PM'd a few times over the last few weeks with no response.

She mentioned the op but had no date as far as she knew then. She mentioned something else which has also got me wondering but no specifics.

I miss her too. She helped me so very much in my early days getting out of my abusive relationship (along with some others).

I hope one day she'll be back...

I know that she spent a lot of time trying to help in that particular situation. GS you probably didn't realise it at the time (in fact, I know you didn't!) but she really had your best interests at heart and she is an amazing support to women in your shoes and shoes like them. Hi by the way. I hope you're doing ok.

I'm sure she'll be back. She'd better be.
