Im fed up with not hearing the end of the story, there have been two particularly interesting ones lately regarding toxic "wendys".All sorts of good advice given so am waiting to see if advice was taken and what happened and not a word from op.

Maybe people post for support as opposed to simply for your entertainment?

lots of mnetters were in terested and advice given, they were topics raised for others views and opinions of what to do next so surely its reasonable to wonder whether the advice worked.

It might be reasonable to wonder but its not reasonable to complain about it. People don't post on here to satisfy people who want a little soap opera. They post for advice and support. Sometimes people don't update because they don't want to think about it anymore. Sometimes they don't update because they don't want to. I think you need a new hobby!

More seriously, any OPs update if they feel like it. They are not at all obliged to to so.
Sometimes people give updates one or two years later.
It's life.
It's not like they swore to keep us on the loop.

I should apologise as really this post should have been in the aibu section as this is where the posts regarding toxic wendys have been.

Toxic wendys are women who appear to be your bff then slowlyh and subtly take over your group of friends, inviting them and leaving you out, making slight put downs under the guise of being funny or just being plain rude and trusting others keep quiet as they often do in the facde of overt bullying.

I've never heard the term Toxic Wendy before & thankfully never encountered one.

Never met a Toxic Wendy myself either. Maybe that means I am one!
