I started decorating as soon as the twat moved out. He comes round for kids a few weeks later 'oh typical isn't it that just when the house starts looking half decent I move out'....lol. Go for it. Every now and then you look at what you've achieved and it feels good.

I changed every single room, just a little bit, when ExH moved out, just so it wasn't the same house we shared, if that makes sense? Even if it's just putting new (plastic!) flowers, of a different colour, in the kitchen. And I painted the bathroom pink. It felt awesome. Go girl!!!
