Raging at myself

Last night a friend came to stay as he was visiting from US for an interview. His wife is my friend and is recovering from breast cancer and double mastectomy.

He said that since the cancer she has been lazier than ever and he always thought she was lazy. My OH laughed. I am still so upset at both of them and furious I didn't rage. Sometimes I really hate guests and manners - and my crap response.

Oh god, well all I can say is you've done her a favour having her dick of a husband out of the house for a while. His poor wife.

Is he really your 'other half' if he thinks that is funny?!? Shock I always hesitate at the term 'other half' as I (personally) feel it implies a person isn't whole alone etc etc... But... He laughed? He laughed?

Does that make you think of the OH of your soul? :(

Well there's not much you can do about your friend's behaviour, other than feel sorry for his wife and hope she comes to her senses when she's fully recovered.

As for your 'OH', I'd be interested to hear why you're with someone who thinks this is acceptable, never mind funny.
