I called DP a stink breath and he's still upset

DP eats milky buttons constantly and uses talc after a bath. The smell makes me feel sick, he constantly smells like a baby and I've told him before that it bothers me. Last night he came to kiss me and all I could smell was the awful sickly milky buttons on his breath and so I pulled away and called him stink breath. He normally texts me during the day but today he hasn't so I'm guessing he's still upset but how do you get through to someone if they won't listen or do not care?? It honestly makes me feel ill.

OP, I get what you're saying, and I'm not often very delicate about addressing issues with my DH - he's still cross about a comment I made on Sunday re: him not cleaning his teeth for 24 hours after eating a takeaway curry and then trying to kiss my face, but I had to say something.

Re the talc, is there no way you could buy him masculine-scented talc and hide the baby stuff? Like Woodspice M&S talc? Might be too far the other way into OAP smells but...

Admittedly, talc is grim on anyone, let alone a grown man.

But, can open, worms everywhere ... you do have to wonder about the sort of man who uses talc. What else is he capable of...?

I tell dp to get his death breath away from me most mornings he just breathes more at me the mink - maybe he's taking a mood over something else but using this as an excuse? Or he's sick being moaned at for eating yummy chocolate buttons
