In the last week, he has handed in his uni dissertation, come 10th in a 10k race against lots of running club types even though he's a martial artist not a runner, and tonight made the most amazing Moroccan chicken dish for dinner.

I am very very proud (and full Grin)

So go on, what's great about yours?

He has kept our extremely grumpy 2yo entertained all day.

Cooked me an amazing steak and peppers.

Bought me fab custom converse that I just love

There are times I could happily lock him in his room (games/office room) and throw away the key but I really love him.

Mine is amazing because having just got in from work (+ 2 hour commute), he is stood in the kitchen cooking us steak after bringing me painkillers, tampons and chocolate Grin

Mine has poured me a glass of red wine, not complained about me already being in my pj's and booked a table at my favourite restaurant for Friday night :) ....well ok I've booked the table but at least he suggested it!

something2say · 29/04/2013 22:13

Mine is fan today because, when I got in from yoga, he wrapped me up in the biggest high imaginable, including a hand on the back of my head! Luv him!!!

HumphreyCobbler · 29/04/2013 22:16

He made my greenhouse for me whilst I was throwing up due to morning sickness. It took him about 12 hours. He is lovely.

MultipleMama · 30/04/2013 07:44

Dh is amazing because despite working all day he comes home and plays with dc and puts them to bed while also getting up during the night when either dd or dts wake up.

It's the times he thinks of me and looks out for me when I overwork myself and forget.

He's amazing because he never tries to be anyone else but strives to be a great vava abd dh :)

CoolaSchmoola · 30/04/2013 07:54

My DH is amazing because he never let's mw carry anything when we go shopping, he baths DC every night, he does all my parents DIY and shares ours, he brings me coffee every morning and gets up early with DC on weekends so I can lie in.

CelticPromise · 30/04/2013 07:59

Mine is amazing because he works all week (I am mainly SAHM), does more than his share at home, and while I was out last night at voluntary job he spent the evening adjusting my bike to make it comfy.

Together we are more than the sum of our parts. He's fab. Smile

dogsandcats · 30/04/2013 08:02

He works 80 hour weeks and rarely complains.

ellajayne · 30/04/2013 08:09

He's amazing because I fell asleep at 8:30 last night with the duvet on me on the sofa and he curled up in a fleece blanket on the bed so as not to disturb me as he knows I don't sleep well. I slept right through until 6am then had to go find him Grin

ShowMeTheYoni · 30/04/2013 08:11

My DH is amazing because HE is a sheGrin

This thread is lovely! Mine is amazing because on the days I have to get up at 6.30 and he doesn't, he gets up with the alarm, puts the kettle on, brings me tea (currently lemsip) in bed and kisses my cheek and forehead until I give in and wake up. Then he goes back to sleep for his lie in!

On the days he gets up early and I have lie ins he tiptoes around silently so I don't wake up! Love him!!

Lie ins for both soon to be a thing of the past though as PFB on the way.....

Callisto · 30/04/2013 08:20

My DH is amazing because he makes me feel amazing about myself. I hope I do the same for him.

Hi is also a brilliant cook, father, lover and my best friend.

beth27123 · 30/04/2013 08:32

My OH is amazing because he puts up with me pushing him away through insecurities, and because despite the situation he's made this baby feel real and wanted from both sides.
And because he's a bit weird but ah I love him :)

He is very skilled at cunnilingus

dogsandcats · 30/04/2013 11:07

Well that was a thread stopper AF.
I had to go and look up what that meant.

AnyFucker · 30/04/2013 11:09

It certainly stops me in my tracks Wink

Jamatmum · 30/04/2013 11:11

I wish I could add something about my oh.

This thread makes me sad for myself. I really am in a destructive relationship.

dogsandcats · 30/04/2013 11:19

I think some of us should add that though our DHs have "amazing" traits, that they are a long way from perfect, well me and DH are.

ThisIsYourSong · 30/04/2013 11:43

He comes home every night, bathes the kids and reads them stories, gets DS3 to sleep and gets up with him in the night. He changes more nappies than me on the weekends, makes us pancakes while I lounge around, takes the DCs on the bus which they love, and often cooks dinner.

He puts up with all my moods and grumpiness without complaining much.

He leaves the house at 7.30am and gets home at 6pm and in the evening works on his business idea.
