Require a 21 gun salute/medal/Tufty badge for doing the simplest thing unprompted (like putting a load of washing in)?
You know what I mean ladies - the 'announcement' that they've done something in house.

Lol Iklboo, I remember my dad aways doing it at home, I've peeled some potatos (but you can cook dinner), I've taken in the washing (but you can iron it), my mother was never impressed. DH is very good at the cooking but has to be asked to do other stuff. One thing that gets me is when he says 'did you have a good lie in', he gets up half an hour before me with dd on a sunday morning and in that half hour I'm supposed to have caught up on all my sleep lost during the week.

IMHO it sounds like he wants you to see how great he is and be pleased with him. Probably wants some L U R V E ! Lucky you he is trying to please you.....more than i get with my dp.

I love how he always says he does these things to help me, why is it a help for me is it not just stuff he should do. Its not all my responsibility so why do I need help with it just do it FGS!!!"!!!!!
