Date Night Ideas

Right. DH and I are planning on having a regular 'date night' so we get more quality time/fun together, however they have to be at home as we have DC's aged 10 months, 2 and 12. All should be in bed by about 8.30pm so, what should we do?!

We have already done film nights, dinners, board games nights but are looking for inspiration of something 'different'.

I told him you would be the people with the ideas!!

A friend of mine and get DH (no DCs) have a themed date night, complete with playlist Grin Sounds desperately cheesy but they sometimes post on FB about it and it looks like tons of fun.

Or you could just get drunk and have monkey sex.

Once it is a bit warmer, wrap up in some admittedly unsexy clothing and have a picnic/drinks in the garden. A blanket must be involved.

Draw each other? '

Draw on each other? Grin

Theme night sounds like good fun, we were discussing earlier that we need to plan for it more so that it feels more like an occasion-we recently wrote a list of where we'd like to visit so maybe we could do evenings based on that (let's be honest we'll be ancient before we can go without children!).

Not sure about monkey sex but we did once get drunk and play strip Trivial Pursuit which was very fun.... Grin

I like the idea of the picnic, will have to try that.

As for drawing each other, that would create a lot of laughter as my artistic capabilities are truly shocking....
