Am I worrying over nothing?

Hi, I am not sure where to start but I need to talk to someone as it keeps going round in my head. DH and I have been married for 7 years and up until 2 weeks ago I thought our relationship was strong. But now I am not sure. 2 weeks ago I got a notification on facebook that my DH had joined facebook. He has always been against it so was suprised. I have not said anything as I thought he would tell me and ask me to be his friend. 2 weeks on and he still has not said anything to me. Should I be worried? Why has he not said anything? Or am I over reading this? Thanks

I would just ask him.

My DM joined facebook recently after we pestered her for years. Then she decided she couldn't be bothered so closed the account down a few weeks later without ever replying to messages.

Just sharing that because I think if you sent a friend request/ asked if he had a profile he may be similar to the above and then you would read too much into this as well.

FB is not really that bad in any case. Not like it has to be a dating website. I didn't tell my DH straight away when I joined. No real reason. Just that I use it to keep in touch with my friends abroad and it didn't occur to me. Also I live with him so I can't see the point on having him as FB "friend". He is welcome to look at my account but he can't be bothered and I have nothing to hide on it anyway.

I wouldn't be worried but I would ask him casually about it if it is concerning you.

I wouldn't be worried with only that to go on. Does he have friends with WHOM (that's for Cogito) he has lost contact? If so, facebook is as good a way as any to find them again.

I joined for a few months a couple of years ago, and didn't mention to DW as I didn't think it worth mentioning, although if she'd have asked, I'd just have told her, having nothing to hide.

I dont think you join Facebook to cheat on your partner. You normally join to see what friends and family are doing and to try and find friends from the past and see what they are up up. Its the best thing since sliced bread was invented.

I joined FB to see what it was all about. DH was full of scorn! Then one day, he joined too. I immediately sent him a friend request.

We both rapidly got bored with it, though. Neither of us have used it for about 2 years, now!
