Seems nice by text but I'm a bit worried about this hair thing.

"It's just occurred to me you may not of (of!) seen my little comment online about my hair? It's slightly longer now...don't get me wrong looks great! Just thought I would say...hard to explain what it's like you don't detest longer hair do you? X"

What's hard to explain about longer hair? Please don't let it be dread locks! That take months doesn't it?

As long as you try not to remind yourself of the age gap to yourself or him, or make jokes about it to him as it may start to get to him!

He sounds very nice though, so fingers crossed for you for another date that goes well. A chipped tooth is nice, character, not vain ( unless he never goes to dentist and has all round terrible teeth)
