Hi ihad a thread on here and it seems to have disappeared.
Shadesofwhite- i replied to you.but don't know if you saw it. I hope you find somewhere to live soon abduction finding refuge ok. Thank you for understanding where im coming from. I.know it isn't logical to want anything to do with ex but they are expert at manipulating and making u feel sorry for them. What did social services do? Iv found it so confusing with what us best for dd. Cogito- i wasn't in refuge or safe house when i saw solicitor but they did know it was abusive. They said if i stop contact it'd go to court and they d give access so it was better to offer supervised contact and hopefully he wouldn't take it to court . However he has done and biweekly some sort of contact has been had the court will not retract it. Perhaps i was ill advised but nothing i can do now.

How did it go? Did you involve your SW or rather Health Visitor for extra support?

We are still in the Refuge and today there is a 2hr session about breaking the pattern I.e they cycle of falling for abusive partners. I'm looking forward to it and so are otHer mothers precisely because I have fallen for TB's manipulation in the past. So hopefully the session will enlighten me on how to protect myself in the future. He is stupidly already sending emails full of malicious lies on how sorry he is and that he'll never leave me to suffer !
