Do you think you can tell if you have chemistry with someone if you chat face to face over skype and web cam? You can obviously here each other speak and see body language but anyone done this and met up in real life to find you didn't get on in person?

I've not done this, but I really think you need to meet. People can act a bit nervous or awkward on the phone or cam (or on the first date even) so I'd always try and meet up quite quickly and see how you actually get on.

Have you got someone in mind?

I thought Skype was for, you know, a bit of, you know.
(That's what my internet-dating friends said anyway.)

LOL yes that is true WHichisbest but that is not my intention for using Skype. Just to see if we click or get on well basically. No other reason to use the cam. I just meet for a chat and drink don't view it as a date. Just see how we get on. We both like the look of eachother and find eachother attractive so u guess its a start. I don't go on pictures anymore as plenty of people use out of date photo's. Only a web cam can determine if a person is fake or not can't it.
