respect. and more respect. and acceptance of the other persons right to fail, but still be loved.

What if two people have different views on what respect is both for themselves and for an another, and how it should be earned? If they fail in this respect, should they still be loved? If they fail to earn each others respect? Back to the chemistry of love and not the formula?
