Trying to pull?

The other day me and DP were in a shoe shop and my son (DP is not his bio father) started chatting to the cashier woman (as 5 year olds do!) but then DP went across and said something about "stop trying to chat her up..!" and then waited around for her to laugh etc (which she did) and he then says to my son "I might have to arrest you..." so my son said "you're not a police man!" so he replied.. "I will be...soon..." and this was all for the benefit of the woman behind the till!

Do any of your DP's act like this?

Will he really be a policeman soon? I don't think he was trying to 'pull' her...you were right there! Does he do this sort of thing often?

yeah he does do it often, like the incident with the woman on the train (its on a lower thread entitled "is this normal").

And no, he wont be a police officer soon! lol he was obviously trying to make her think he will though...

Maybe Im just getting overly paranoid because of the way he generally behaves at other times too.

Is he nice otherwise?

noodle - you seem to have started a lot of threads. Why don't you take the advice on some of them? He sounds a bit immature, and not considerate of you.
