So I am in an unhappy situation and have no support apart from one friend and MN [thankyou].
I am going to be the perfect parent [I think i'm pretty good already] and I am just going to reiterate
"I want to live in a fair and happy home"
I am not going to fade away and give in.

Why is your situation unhappy? Why are you in danger of fading away or giving in? Are you solely responsible for your home being 'fair and happy' or is there someone else dragging you down?

I'm not sure it's possible to be a perfect anything, let alone perfect parent. It's good to try and be the best you can be, but also realistic. It could really affect your self esteem if you're expecting perfection all the time. I'm glad you're determined to better your situation so well done on the positive attitude :-)
