Hi Guys,

I've been dating a guy for around 6 months and he's lovely. We went out with some friends of mine on Saturday night who asked whether we were a couple to which i replied yes. We haven't really had 'that conversation' so when we went to bed that night I asked him how he would describe whats going on between us and he replied with 'both static and non-static at different times'. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN????
He stays over regularly, we see each other several times a week talk or text almost daily never argue and always laugh when we are together. If thats not a relationship I honestly don't know what one is? He's even coming to my parents for dinner! I feel like I'm missing something :(

What a weird way of putting it Grin You're going to have to ask him what the hell he meant but do be prepared for the wrong answer. People can really compartmentalise stuff, even seemingly blossoming relationships.

Thanks for a response. Yeah I know its kinda what I'm afraid of. I know one person tends to invest more than the other, just sucks when that person could be you. Will man up when I see him!!! Hopefully have this sorted before he comes for Christmas dinner or that could be awkward :S
