Snoring. Yuck.

Fuming, as chronic snoring DH (we sleep in separate rooms, it's ok) has his DM coming to stay for a week. When I ask about sleeping arrangments, as in how about DD sleeps with me and you in her Room, he is adamant we should be sleeping in the same room in front of his DM. I can't sleep with him, it's a foghorn all night and I'm pissed off he can't acknowledge his snoring problem, nor make an effort to lose weight to curtail it or be receptive to suggestions so we can all get an ok sleep (I'll still hear him through the walls...)

I've said, fine I'll sleep on the sofa then. GRRRR.

Have you tried recording him? One of the problems with snoring is that we seldom hear ourselves.

You have every right to a reasonable night's sleep so why not just say that your DD will sleep with you and that he can sort himself out? I assume that he wont come and physically drag you back into the marital bed?

Did his dad snore? His DM might be extremely understanding!

My god, are you me? Why is it they point blank refuse to accept that their snoring is abhorrent? Tell him to get fucked. Your sleep is more important than some jumped up lie that you sleep together, for the sake of saving face. I've actually just posted on here about his snoring. Can you tell I'm in a foul mood with him? I'm lying here listening to his snores through the wall and I'm infuriated!!
