New Stalking Laws

Last week I was informed of new stalking laws. Does anyone know where I can find out some more info ie ask about specific evidence and if it applies or not?

The CPS website is very helpful. You could start with this page and see if it takes you to anything useful. the NSS website is a good resource, in particular.

Are you referring to the two specific criminal offences of 'stalking' and 'stalking involving fear of violence or alarm or distress' which came into force in England and Wales last month?

If so, any contravention of the law relating to these new offences which was allegedly committed prior to 25 November 2012 cannot be taken into account or acted upon by the police.

So I can't use the CCTV footage before that date?

He was outside my house last week but parked way back. Oh I know SS won't believe me I need CCTV to catch him but he knows how it works hence parked car so far back out of range! It's gaslighting! Oh well as long as he's not lighting the house!
