Why do I feel like this

I've been separated for a year, going through a divorce. DH behaved very badly, he's an alcoholic. Married 20 years. Saw him last weekend because I took my DS to meet him. Ended up having a drink. He told me he loved me very much. So confused. He's living with his mistress. Not paying any of the bills he was paying but making excuses. Mistresses husband paying for rental of house. Poor sap. Should I contact mistresses husband to find out truth or would I just look pathetic? STBXH lying through his teeth as always.

Stay well out of it. Your STBXH clearly has serious problems with reality and I think you could easily make a chump of yourself if you take anything he says on face value.

Does the truth matter?

He is telling you he loves you while he lives with her and her ex pays all his bill?

Would you really want him back?

You feel like this because you still miss the man you wanted him (or he pretended) to be. But he is in fact the cock you have described.
