Me, never, him, occasionally. We are horribly slovenly though and pathologically lacking in house-pride.

TheMouseDancing · 07/12/2012 12:13

I do the whole house once a day and sometimes the living room twice whilst I'm on mat leave, I have 3 dogs and a 7mnth old dd so like to keep everywhere clean - I'm a bit lot ocd!

Dryjuice25 · 07/12/2012 14:09

Once or twice daily now.......very therapeutic I find. But once a month before dcs arrived. I have become my mum!

Hedwig06 · 07/12/2012 14:12

3-4 times day every day but I have a German shepherd Smile

DH does it once Saturday and once Sunday

I'm sick of hooving .....

izzyizin · 07/12/2012 14:27

I don't ply any of my assorted vacuum cleaners but I have a wonderful woman who does.

wrinklyraisin · 07/12/2012 14:29

He uses the dust buster thing daily as we have a shedding golden retriever (which is most definitely HIS dog cos of the mess she makes lol). We have a central vacuum system which is awesome, and he usually does the whole house every week or so, I dust and fold a couple of loads of laundry while he does that. I think it's a fair deal. He's very domesticated and does what needs doing with no fuss.

nipersvest · 07/12/2012 14:29

i hoover every day (messy family, cat, wood floors so we get dust bunnies everywhere etc). dh never hoovers.

monsterchild · 07/12/2012 14:30

Never, I hate the sound of all of them. Dh does it, but we've recently gone the way of you, cogit. Much better solution.

minsmum · 07/12/2012 14:33

We have a dog and 2 cats and I haven't hoovered for 26 years but DH does it every day

Want2bSupermum · 07/12/2012 14:36

I do it and it drives me crazy. DH has turned into a lazy PITA and uses his MBA as an excuse to avoid any housework. He can't even load the dishwasher. Have had words but nothing changed. Now I make sure I vacuum while he trying to watch television. When the football comes on I make darn sure I vacuum for as long as possible and block his view to the television for as long as I can.

cestlavielife · 07/12/2012 14:37

hugoagogo · 07/12/2012 14:42

Every day!! Crikey, we think we're doin well if we hoover once a month week.

Dh does it, as often as me though.

Startail · 07/12/2012 14:47

Never, he bought the horrible ten ton Dyson, he works it.

It only comes out about once a month, but he does do it without much prompting.

forevergreek · 07/12/2012 14:48

Once a week ( whoever gets it out- probably 50/50)

But we work long hours and only eat at home maybe 3/4 evenings a week ( so can't really create that much mess as home is mainly for sleeping)
