Ok, to cut a long story short, My husband is an engineer, got called out early am this morning, came home about 5am, went back to work at 11am and is still not home now. I called him just before 9pm to see how work was going and he said, I am just going to a hotel for some dinner with a guy I've been working with, will be a couple of hours..he's still not back. Should I be nice to him when he comes home, or am I right to be pee'd off that he didn't let me know his plans?

Bit of both, really.

Make your displeasure known, but in a fair and controlled way. It's up to him how he chooses to spend his time, but it's common courtesy to let those affected by your actions know what you're up to.

Did you have to cancel anything or change plans, etc? Otherwise not sure what the problem is...

He must be shattered. Maybe he just needed time to chill and have some dinner before coming home.

BTW, are you sure it's a workmate he's with?
