I do. But then I am the only adult.

I have always handled the finances etc; with Ex, and with my long-term BF, this will probably hold true. I make sure bills etc; are payed and regularly check the account. I work out budgets for the food per week, and work out electricity, gas and heating costs, and make sure we save. I make sure we don't overspend or go into debt too much.

With childcare, I do most of the parenting due to miniscule visits by Ex (he lives abroad) and because BF is not her original parent, and I want to take my time. So he will entertain her sometimes, when I'm on MN working, and will take her out to places etc; but mostly that's me. Housework wise though, he definitely does most of the work. He enjoys cooking so he does that, he says he finds cleaning, doing laundry and making beds 'relaxing' and he could vaccuum all day.
