How Would you feel about this Question????

Ok i was reading a certain thread on here last night about the way a bloke was treating his Dp so i went & asked my Dp a question, this was my question......

Would you be happy with a man treating your daughter the way you treat me?

Dp said "yes" but it toke him a while & he had to think about it long & hard, I am not so sure he was telling the truth.

He said to me would you like a Woman treating our son the way you treat me?

I stood & thought for 2 secs & replied "yes" BUT maybe i would like her to be a bit more affectionate than me, (thats my downfall)

So how would you feel & what would your husbands/partners answers be?

I think we both would say yes we would like our children treated by their partners like we do each other.

DP has done things for me which I think shows his love in a bigger way than a lot of men and I truely love DP to bits not just for what he has done but because he is himself a lovely person - We RESPECT each other too which means we treat each other as we would expect to be treated ourselves!!

(God I sound middle aged and boring!!)

You mean by there partners?

I think both me anddh would say to yes. The main thing is that we respect and love each other dearly. And we talk, about anything and everything

Oh! It's sad, but I don't think I would like my children to be treated the way DH and I treat each other. Good that you posted this. It makes me want to do something about it.

Exactly the same I'd like her to be more affectionate than me.
I'd be chuffed if my dd found a man like her dad, although he could be a little more forthcoming emotionally :)

It's certainly a question that gets you thinking, anyone else??
