Same here Lubey, wine makes me want to snog and stuff, I know exactly what people mean when they talk about beer goggles cos the last date I had looked quite shaggable after a few sips of white, luckily he didn't stop chewing his gum long enough for me to plant my lips on his so I was spared a potential embarrassing disaster.

No they did not!! LUCkiky it was mostly sitting down today.
I used to only wear hold ups. I think i forgot how awful tights were. Will get some at the weekend :)

One word of warning about hold ups. Do ensure that they actually HOLD UP before leaving the house.

One date long ago before this thread, I met my beau at the train station, and both hold ups failed and fell down within 100m of walking. Thankfully right in front of a tesco express where I purchased tights, and opposite a starbucks where I dashed to the loos to put on said tights which much later after an epic and excellent date got ripped off with teeth

Time - lots of sympathy, I have been at it for months. Up until recently I only managed a handful of interviews and nothing that came to anything. At the moment I'm waiting to hear about two actually halfway decent jobs but it's taken me a LOT of applications and a LOT of plugging away at it. Just keep going & try not to let it get you down.

Hey everyone, I've been a lurker on the boards for some time mainly after tips on my upcoming fatherhood, baby is due in 4 weeks.
I'm currently single, things didn't work out between me and my xp but we're working together to give our baby the best life we can possible give him/her.

I stumbled on to this board as I was interested in starting dating again but as my baby is so close to being born now that is going to be my main focus for some months. But I would like to stay and follow the threads as there are some absolutely amazing people here

Also just a quick note to Snape all the best for tonight, that notebook is beyond words!!

My position is currently totally loved up with a bloke I met on POF a month ago, after 4 or 5 other dates with perfectly nice men, who were either not my type or not that into me too busy to take it further.

I would defend POF against the nay-sayers, I have truly found a soul-mate and we're both so grateful for the random sequence of events that led us to find each other on there! He was also on Match I was too cheap to pay the subscription and lives locally but I know I wouldn't have found him without POF because our paths would never have crossed, despite having so many things in common.

Anyone skeptical, don't abandon hope, there are lovely men out there, they just need weeding out from the knob-shot huns.
