Has anyone ever had a crush on someone at work while not being single?

I've been married with kids for quite a long time and we have our ups and downs, but I currently have a massive crush on a guy at work. I work full time and see him every day and I think we have a mild fliration thing going on. He put his arm around me when we were joking around in a meeting and I went bright red in front of everyone, and there's been a bit of flirty banter. It's lovely having something to daydream about (and that's all it'll ever be) but trying to keep a lid on it as part of my job is to give him a hard time in meetings about standards, quotas etc.

Has anyone else had this? I feel a bit old for all of this and a bit guilty that my eyes are wandering all over the place!

Yup, had it frequently. Usually found in my case it lasted about 48 hours then disappeared completely. Like diarrhoea.

I think a crush and a bit of flirtation is okay as long as you and the person you have a crush on know it will go no further. I have had crushes while married but it doesnt mean I dont love my husband or want to have an affair - it is fun. I blame it on hormones!

I had a crush on someone I worked with when dh and I were engaged (of all times). I still feel guilty about it now (even though nothing happened). Dh knew about it as well as I fessed up, hoping he'd say he still fancied other people. Turned out he didn't and it felt a bit icky for a while (especially when we run into the crush when out).

ran

IME, you have to concentrate hard, and then it will go away. Personally, I cant separate home and office life, so could never afford even to admit to myself that I found a guy at work attractive when I was married

Er, not really a crush but when pg with ds1 (it is the hormones isn't it!!!) there was a gorgeous graduate at work. Yum, he was lovely even if he was about 8 years younger than me!

Would never do anything but you can always look can't you?!
